“Log Cabin Florist recently offered a design class for kids and what a success it was! They received hands-on experience taught by the best designers in the industry. As part of the workshop they went on tours of the shop and floral storage areas (burr!). They created their own floral display, received a great ‘Log Cabin Florist Kids’ T-shirt, had yummy snacks and took home gifts and a certificate of participation. It was wonderful to see the creativity and imaginations at work and the pride of a job well done! I think maybe we planted a seed of possibility in the minds of our junior designers, and provided an avenue of expression using the art of floral design. We are proud of our ‘Kids’ and hope to see them again soon.“

After attending our ‘Log Cabin Kids Design Class’ one of our students had such a great time she reserved her special day and held her 9th birthday party with us! Allyse, along with 7 of her best friends, made a fabulous floral design, toured the shop and facilities and were treated to cupcakes and custom-made cookies. This was Log Cabin’s first birthday party for kids, so it appears we will be branching out to meet the needs of our younger clients!
